Accessibility Statement
Dark Horse Construction is committed to making darkhorseconstructiongroup.com accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities.
Last updated: June 4, 2026
Our commitment
Dark Horse Construction aims to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We treat accessibility as part of building and running our website the right way, not a feature to add later.
Conformance status
Partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content may not yet fully meet the standard. We are actively working to reach and maintain full conformance.
What we've done
- Semantic HTML with proper headings, landmarks, and a “skip to content” link
- Descriptive alt text for meaningful images
- Keyboard-operable menus, galleries, dialogs, forms, and interactive elements
- Visible focus indicators
- Form fields with clear, programmatically associated labels
- Support for the OS “reduce motion” setting
- Zoomable/resizable text without loss of content or function
- A correctly declared page language
Known limitations
We're aware of, and working on:
- Some text/visual elements may not yet meet AA color-contrast ratios
- Some video content may not yet include captions or transcripts
- Some embedded third-party content (maps, video players, scheduling widgets, chat) is outside our direct control
Requesting information or accommodations
If you'd like project information, quotes, or documents in an alternate format, or an accommodation for a consultation or site visit, contact us and we'll do our best to arrange it.
Report a barrier
If you encounter something on darkhorseconstructiongroup.com that isn't accessible, or need information in an alternate format, please tell us. We aim to respond within 2 business days.

Third-party content
Some embedded content (maps, video players, scheduling portals) is provided by third parties whose accessibility we don't directly control. We choose vendors with strong accessibility records and offer alternative ways to access the same information whenever possible.
